We accept a few new beginners in the junior class at the start of each half term if places are available. Generally, the minimum age we accept for juniors is eight and they are considered juniors until they are 12. 

Simliar to the adults, they will receive a 4 week introductionary course to cover the basics before joining the rest of the junior group. The session consists of individual lessons, group lessons, fencing bouts and fencing related games.

All fencing equipment is provided for new starters. They will get hot whilst fencing so we recommend T-shirts rather than long sleeved tops, and no hoodies please. Ensure any long hair is tied back out of the way.

Payment is for the whole term but it equates to £7 a week. The juniors do not fence during the school holidays.
